I've been really enjoying experimenting with lip colors lately, whether they're bright and bold or light and nude. I've noticed myself reaching for these five over any others. Most of them aren't necessarily summer colors, but that means I can (and will) continue to wear them all year round!
Buxom Full-Bodied Lipstick in Dolly
This shimmery mauve is a great medium between colorful and neutral. It's somewhat sheer and leaves a hint of shine--a no-fuss, easy to wear color. It isn't drying at all and I can easily see myself reaching for this in the colder months, too. My perpetually dry lips are so done with the matte lip trend!
Maybelline Color Jolt in Stripped Down
If you've been reading my blog recently you'll know that I am obsessed with this new release from Maybelline. These are intensely pigmented, comfortable, and the colors are amazing. This dark rosy-brown nude is my favorite shade at the moment. You can see a full review on it here!
MAC Glaze lipstick in Hue
Another nude I've been loving is this glaze finish from MAC. The soft pink is beautiful for fair skin! This is what I naturally reach for when I'm indecisive, which is often. The color is buildable so it can be applied sheerly or built up to a somewhat opaque color like I did in the swatch.
Physicians Formula Argan Wear tinted lip oil
As my lips are so dry, these beautifully packaged lip oils appealed to me. I like to wear it on it's own for a hint of shine and color or under lip products for extra moisture. If you hate sticky lip glosses, these are for you! The only thing I dislike is the strong toasted vanilla scent.
Maybelline Colorsensational in Glisten-Up Pink
A long time favorite of mine, this bright pink is surprisingly easy to wear! It's pigmented but can be sheered out for a more subtle look. I always gravitate towards this in the summer. It's also blue-based so your teeth look brighter!

Do you have a lipstick rotation or do you stick to one or two products?
Xx Katie
I really like Glisten Up Pink! Recently I have discovered the Too Faced Melted Lipstick, so Melted Peony has found a nice home in my lipstick rotation!

That is a gorgeous shade, I've looked at it a few times!
DeleteThe Maybelline Stripped Down looks really nice! Will be checking that out. I've been using a few products lately so I guess you could consider that a rotation! :)

I saw that Physician Formula lip oil the other day but didn't pick it up because I never read any review on it before! I still have yet to try Maybelline Color Jolt, there's a few shades that I have my eyes on.
