Life Update and 2018 Plans

Hello everyone! It feels like forever since I've written a blog post, but in actuality it's only been a week. I have been taking a little break from blogging while I have
The past few weeks have been unusually stressful for me. I'm the first to admit that my major (psychology) isn't usually as difficult as say, nursing or engineering, but my classes this semester have been tough. At the moment it looks like I'll do well in all of my classes and get my GPA up, but I really wanted to take the week off from working and blogging so I can focus on studying. After finals are over it will be back to three posts a week!

Tomorrow I'm also taking the GRE, which is a big factor in determining if I get into graduate school. I'm not super nervous right now but I'm sure when it starts I will be! I've decided to take it early so that if I do decide to retake it, I will have plenty of time to prepare for it the second time around.

During winter break I want to work as much as possible. I've been spending a little too much on Christmas presents, and I know I'll have to buy books for next semester soon. I'm excited about my upcoming classes. I'm taking mostly writing classes, which is a first for me! I'm almost done with my major and minor credits but I will still need more to graduate, so I'm finding other areas that I'm interested in (like writing and political science) to get those last few credits that I need. I'm also taking a bowling class and I got an internship at a women's health center which I'm looking forward to.

I will be turning 21 in February and shortly after that I will be traveling out of the United States for the first time! My aunt is getting married in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, and I will be staying there for about a week with some family members who are also going. I'm hoping to do some shopping, sightseeing, and ziplining while I'm there. Apparently there are some good surfing locations near Puerta Vallarta, so I really want to do that as well! Overall I'm most looking forward to a break from the harsh, snowy conditions here in Michigan. Maybe I will even get tan for once...

Also on the roster for 2018 is a trip to Chicago in June. I just bought Taylor Swift tickets for my sister and I. We usually go to Detroit for concerts because it's closer, but the Detroit dates didn't line up well for either of us because we would still have classes. I've never been to Chicago so that should be fun! I loved the last Taylor Swift concert I went to so hopefully her Reputation tour is just as good.

As for blogging in 2018, I've got some interesting posts and series that I want to start for the new year. I've been feeling especially inspired in my Project Pan so I might expand that area on my blog. I'd also like to get a domain name within the next year.

Let me know what 2018 plans you're looking forward to! Also, I've been neglecting my Bloglovin feed while I'm studying so much, so leave a link below and I will try to check out everyone's recent posts when I can!

Xx Katie

  2. Good luck on your GREs. Blogging won't go away, your studies are more important :) Congrats on getting the internship! I would love to go to Puerto Vallarta, my husband and I almost went there on our honeymoon but we ended up in Playa del Carmen which is close to Cancun.

  3. I totally understand taking a time off for exams (that's why I usually post on that day that there's not going to be a post haha) but this time I'm struggling and somehow succeeding in Blogmas although I also have exams and I can't remember the last time I was so stressed during December.
Also, I love that you're gonna get to travel somewhere cause a change of scenery is always nice. And especially for a wedding :)

    Hi everyone,
I'm so excited. My ex-boyfriend is back after a breakup, I’m extremely happy that will are living together again.
My boyfriend of a 4yr just broke up with me and am 30 weeks pregnant. I have cried myself to sleep most of the nights and don’t seem to concentrate during lectures sometimes I stay awake almost all night thinking about him and start to cry all over again. Because of this I end up not having energy for my next day’s classes, my attendance has dropped and am always in uni and on time. Generally he is a very nice guy, he ended it because he said we were arguing a lot and not getting along. He is right we’ve been arguing during the pregnancy a lot .After the break up I kept ringing him and telling him I will change. I am in love with this guy and he is the best guy I have ever been with. I’m still hurt and in disbelief when he said he didn’t have any romantic feelings towards me anymore that hurt me faster than a lethal syringe. He texts me now and then mainly to check up on how am doing with the pregnancy, he is supportive with it but it’s not fair on me, him texting me as I just want to grieve the pain and not have any stress due to the pregnancy. i was really upset and i needed help, so i searched for help online and I came across a website that suggested that Dr Azeez can help solve marital problems, restore broken relationships and so on. So, I felt I should give him a try. I contacted him and he told me what to do and i did it then he did a spell for me. 17 hours later, my bf came to me and apologized for the wrongs he did and promise never to do it again. Ever since then, everything has returned back to normal. I and my bf are living together happily again..
