When Sephora has a sale, it seems like the whole beauty community drops everything and starts planning their shopping bag!
I didn't want to spend too much, so I just bought a few pricey items that I've wanted for a while and never seem to be on sale anywhere else. But there are a lot of products that I have to recommend to someone who is looking for a great splurge!
The three items I bought online are a perfume, a blush, and a lip product, all of which I've wanted for ages.
TOCCA Simone Perfume 0.68 oz
Summery scents are my absolute favorite and I love the TOCCA products I've tried before! Simone is inspired by Sydney's Bondi Beach, which is one of my bucket-list travel locations. I'm such a beach girl and the fruity-floral notes in this sound perfect for spring and summer. I haven't smelled this before so I'm glad I'm buying it on sale just in case! The notes in it include apple, watermelon, lemon, ylang-ylang, freesia, blonde woods, amber, and more.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure
Mood Exposure definitely looks better for autumn, but I've wanted an Hourglass powder forever and this is the one I think I'll wear most. Based on swatches, it seems like a beautiful mauvey marbled shade and online it looks a lot like Benefit Rockateur, which is my all-time favorite blush. I really hope these live up to the hype!
Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Cava
I've been really into cool tones lately for some reason, but I don't have many cool-toned nude lipsticks. I saw this on Kathleen Light's YouTube channel and fell in love! It is described as a 'Lilac Beige' shade. I've been really curious about Bite products because they are all considered food-grade, which means they have fewer chemicals/toxins than other products.
My recommendations...
If you haven't already jumped on the sale, I have a few Sephora products that I absolutely love and would recommend to just about everyone!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors
The highlight from heaven, these beautiful illuminators come in a huge variety of shades and have the softest, most buttery texture. I have Moonstone, Opal, Champagne Pop, and Prosecco Pop; I'm interested in Pearl and Rose Gold, too, although I definitely don't need any more! Moonstone (pictured) is my favorite, it's very well suited for fair skin with yellow undertones. There is a color for everyone and you'll fall in love at first swatch.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Color Splash lipstick in Salt Lyfe
During Tarte's Friends and Family sale I picked up quite a few items, and this was one of them. Like I mentioned earlier, I love beachy products so the entire Rainforest of the Sea line appeals to me. This blue marble packaging is gorgeous and Salt Lyfe is a deep mauve nude. These also aren't drying, so they're perfect for the spring season!
Too Faced Born This Way foundation
This foundation works so well with my dry skin at all times of the year. I bought two shades so I can wear it when I have a tan, too! It has high coverage and leaves my skin looking really glowy and pretty.
Benefit Cheekathon and Cheek Parade Blush Palette
Unfortunately this palette is no longer available, but a very similar one launched recently and if I didn't already have this one I would have jumped at the Benefit Cheek Parade! They both include five full-size Benefit blushes or bronzers. The Cheekathon palette includes Dandelion, Hoola, Rockateur, Dallas, and Coralista (Dallas is the only shade I don't use) and the Cheek Parade includes Hoola, Hoola Lite, Dandelion, Galifornia, and Rockateur. This seems like a great option and it's the price of two full sized powders, so if you think that you would use three or more shades it's a total steal!
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
I can't resist chocolate-scented products, especially when they are super soft and easy to blend! The Chocolate Soleil Bronzer line comes in three shades and I have the lightest, Milk Chocolate. It's matte and easy to contour with or use it to bronze all over the face.
NARS Pure Matte lipstick in Tonkin
I have a love/hate relationship with this lipstick. It's so beautiful and lightweight, but you don't get much product. This little tube is just a bit thicker than a cigarette and it's almost $30! If you can get it on sale, it's a much better option. Tonkin is a reddish-brown matte nude that feels practically weightless when it's on and doesn't need to be reapplied often.
Swatches from left to right: Dandelion, Hoola, Rockateur, Dallas, Coralista, Milk Chocolate
Swatches from left to right: Moonstone, Opal, Champagne Pop, Prosecco Pop, Salt Lyfe, Tonkin
Did you get anything from the Sephora sale? Do you plan to?
Xx Katie
I wasn't thinking of buying anything but now seeing your post I loved the Tarte and nars lipsticks, I will give the, a try. Thanks for the recommendations.

The Benefit cheek palette is such a good deal! I probably wouldn't get it since I already have a few and need to use them out but would be so good for someone who wants to try out their stuff

I have a mini size of the Becca highlighter in Opal but it doesn't really suit me. I really want to try champagne pop.

I would love to have a Sephora where I live! You picked some great things, those Tarte lipsticks look lovely, the packaging is beautiful and I've been wanting to try them since the first time I saw them on youtube, they are almost like a piece of art. Also I would totally get the Becca skinperfectors, I think they are pretty pricey for highlighters, but guess they are worth it!

I didn't buy anything this sale, for some reason I just don't think it's worth it or maybe I just don't want anything. LOL! Great haul and I have my eyes on that Hourglass blush too.
