It’s no secret that I splurge mostly on makeup. Other than
food, it’s definitely my biggest expense! Over the past month or so I’ve kept a
running list of every beauty product I’ve bought so that rather than doing a
bunch of little hauls I would do a couple big haul posts and include
mini-reviews on the products I’ve had the chance to try.
I’ve had my eye on this for quite a while and finally
decided to order it! It’s a peachy-toned luminizing corrector. The pink helps
to counteract dark circles while illuminating pigments brighten the area. This
is supposedly the perfect shade for everyone but I can’t imagine anyone with
tan or deep skin tones using this. For me, however, it’s really nice and I’ll
be doing a full review on this soon!
Although I love perfume, I haven’t tried many high-end
options. This one is the perfect blend of floral and fruity for the summer! I’m
guilty of wearing these sort of scents all year round so I’m sure I’ll get a
ton of use out of this. I love the packaging as well. The notes in this are Italian
citrus, red berries, sweet peas, Bulgarian roses, pink musk, and sandalwood
according to Sephora!
This is a many time repurchase for me, I’ve been using this
duo on and off since middle school. It’s the only shampoo and conditioner that
makes my chlorine-damaged hair feel soft and keeps in non-greasy for days. The
small bottles (shampoo size 10.1 oz. and conditioner size 8.5 oz.) have lasted
me since Christmas so I think the jumbo size bottles, which both include 33.8
oz., will last me well over a year. These were on sale at Ulta and I snatched
them up for half price! I’m planning a haircare post in a few weeks so I’ll
talk/write your ear off again about these.
I hadn’t yet tried eyeshadows from NARS but this gorgeous
taupey/bronze shade caught my eye and I made a quick decision to purchase it.
The formula is really nice and I love the shade, but I don’t think I’ll be
buying more single shadows from NARS as with the same money I could buy an
entire palette from many other great brands. I’d love to try a NARS palette,
though!
Another eyeshadow purchase was this gorgeous trio from Kat
von D. I’ve used this a few times and I love it so far! Shimmery neutral eyes
are my favorite so the three shades included are perfect. I like to sweep the
pink shade all over the lid, pop the shimmery chocolate in the crease and use
the champagne shade to highlight. It’s so easy and these blend really well.
I also had a bit of a debacle trying to purchase the Too
Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette, and I’ll explain all about that in my next
post! As always, thanks for reading!
Xx Katie

I too tend to spend a lot of money on makeup! Way more than on clothes or anything like that. :) I've tried that Jimmy Choo perfume and it is gorgeous, it's so fruity and perfect for spring/summer! The bottle is super cute, also. x
