Five Drugstore Favorites

When it comes to make-up, I believe that you generally get what you pay for. However, there are quite a few amazing products that you can get without a hefty price tag. Here are some of my favorite drugstore finds!

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation: This drugstore foundation meets every requirement I have for my personal foundation preferences. It’s lightweight, full-coverage, and leaves a luminous, glowy finish that lasts for hours. If you can find a shade that suits you, I highly recommend that you check this out!

Flower Glisten Up! Highlighter Chubby: I won’t go into too much detail as I’ve already done a full review of this product (read it here!) but this golden, shimmery highlighter catches the light in such a beautiful way. It’s the most expensive product that I’ve included on this list, but I think it is well worth it.

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen: I’m usually not a huge fan of pencil eyeliners (I can’t sharpen them to save my life) but this is so creamy that I’ll put up with the packaging. It glides onto the lashline or waterline with ease and it’s richly pigmented. The next time I’m at Target I’m planning on buying a few more colors!

Mabelline Colossal Mascara: Lately many beauty bloggers have been obsessed with the Lash Sensational mascara by Maybelline, but as I haven’t tried that yet I thought I would include my personal favorite drugstore mascara which is also by Maybelline (they’re just killing it with mascaras, I suppose). This thick, voluminous wand really helps to thicken and lengthen my lashes while also separating them. The formula isn’t too wet or too dry; I’ve had it for three months now and it hasn’t dried out or begun to clump together. I’m definitely repurchasing this!

Lasting Finish by Kate Moss lipstick: These lipsticks are a favorite of many and I’m no exception. It seems like every time I’m at the drugstore I find a new shade to test out! My favorites are the beloved #107, a matte wine shade, #110, a matte orangey coral, #45, a beige nude, #32, a peachy coral, and #11, a dark wine red. These lipsticks are intensely pigmented, apply nicely, and last a decent amount of time. There are so many shades to choose from that everyone can find at least one that suits them!

What are your favorite drugstore beauty products?

Xx Katie
