When it comes to spending money, I probably spend the most on make-up. It seems like I always have a Sephora, Ulta, or Ebay order on the way! So when I saw this tag doing the rounds on various blogs, I was curious and a little apprehensive as to how much my average make-up routine costs.

Hello everyone and Happy Spring! Despite the fact that it is snowing outside (damn Michigan!) I’ve still been letting myself get into the spring mood: pastel nails, bright cheeks, pink lips. Although I love winter beauty trends, it’s so refreshing to change it up a bit and let go of the dark eyes and berry lips. Here are some of my favorite beauty products to launch myself into the new season!

Top Five Essie Nail Polishes

With so many colors to choose from, Essie is one of my favorite nail polish brands. They are great quality, they’re not too pricey and did I mention the colors?! I’ve built up quite the collection but I’ve narrowed it down to my top five colors that I like to wear throughout the year.

The Liebster Awards

I only recently first heard about the Liebster Awards so I'm so happy that I was tagged to do them! If you are unfamiliar with the tag, it's a blogging award that is given to you by other bloggers. Liebster (German) means sweetest, beloved, dearest, kindest, etc. Basically you are tagged to answer eleven questions and then spread the love by tagging other bloggers!

Time for another rendition of "Can the average beauty lover recreate looks from make-up artists?!" Judging by how the last one went (post here!) I'm going to guess no, but that won't stop me from trying!

For my birthday last month I purchased several different Tarte products, one of which was their Tarteist Lip Paint liquid lipstick. I got it in the color Namaste, a pretty pinky nude, and I’ve been wearing it at least once a week since it arrived, which is quite often for me!

I have a strange fascination with finishing make-up products. My collection is constantly growing so whenever I like something enough to finish it I feel like I’ve accomplished a goal. That being said, I rarely finish anything, especially lipsticks, eye shadows and powders. But over the next few months I plan to do just that!

I am not ashamed to admit that I spend far too much time planning my future wedding. I love to look at dresses, rings, veils, etc. and I even have my flowers picked out! Other than who you’re marrying, of course, I find a wedding dress to be the most unique aspect of any wedding and the perfect wedding dress will make the day even more special. So when Cocomelody contacted me and informed me of their giveaway and sale, I jumped at the chance to promote it!

I have two in my collection, a travel sized one in the shade Opal and a full-sized one in the shade Moonstone.
